On Saturday 6th June, we had the pleasure of performing at the Keswick Beer Festival, and what an experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The festival stage was absolutely enormous—one of the biggest we’ve played on—and the impressive marquee was capable of holding around 3,000 people, creating an incredible atmosphere throughout the evening.
One of the highlights of the event was working with a dedicated monitor engineer. Having someone focused entirely on making sure we could hear everything clearly on stage made such a difference to our performance. The sound quality was exceptional, both on stage and out front, and it allowed us to relax and really enjoy the show. A huge thank you to the festival production team for putting together such a professional setup.
We were the first of three acts performing that evening, which meant we had the task of getting the crowd warmed up for the night ahead. Thankfully, the festival-goers didn’t need much encouragement! From the first song to the last, people were up on their feet, dancing, singing along, and creating an amazing atmosphere. Seeing the dance floor packed throughout our entire hour-long set gave us a real buzz and made for a memorable performance.
After we finished our set, we finally had the chance to relax and enjoy the festival ourselves. We stayed to watch Near Nashville, whose energetic country music set was a perfect fit for the event. Their musicianship and stage presence were fantastic, and they certainly kept the crowd entertained well into the evening.
Of course, no trip to a beer festival would be complete without sampling some of the drinks on offer. With a huge selection of beers available from breweries across the region and beyond, we couldn’t resist trying a few. It was the perfect way to round off a brilliant day of live music, great company, and a fantastic festival atmosphere.
