Last night we were up at the incredible Hidden River Barn in Carlisle — and honestly, it’s probably the nicest venue we’ve ever played at. And that’s after hundreds of weddings all over the Lakes and the North West.

The whole day had a proper Scottish feel to it as the groom is Scottish — kilts everywhere, great atmosphere, and an amazing traditional Scottish band on before us who absolutely smashed it.

The food was unreal, the crowd were up for it from the first song, and the dancefloor didn’t stop all night. We wrapped things up in the best way possible with “Loch Lomond” — arms round shoulders, everyone singing at the top of their lungs. Perfect ending.
