It’s been a while since our last wedding post. We have all been super busy with gigs and life in general, especially Chris! He and his wife Katie welcomed little baby Oscar James into the world on the 19th May (2019). So we were all on alert from the end of April just in case! Jeannie was an absolute star and was our stand in lead singer over this period and she did a sterling job, so if your reading this jeannie – thank you!
Anyway back to last nights wedding. Emma and Tom chose The Dalmeny Hotel for their wedding. We know the venue very well as we regularly play in the bar on Friday nights. However weddings are set in the ‘Atrium’. It’s a great room, large enough to accommodate even the biggest of weddings and Daz is a fantastic host.
The night started off full of energy. Guests were literally dancing as they were walking in to join the evening do from the bar! We played Emma and Tom’s first dance from the iPad and then kicked off straight into the first set. The dance floor was full from the start, everyone was SO up for it! After our first set, Jeannie did a 45 minute solo set which sounded amazing as ever! Then about 10:30 we did our second set. We had guest singers, including the bride and bridesmaids doing the obligatory Mustang Sally as well as the groom doing his bit too.
All in all an amazing evening at a great venue!
